The Neighborhood Cancer Connection hosts a variety of signature events throughout the year—most notably, the Hope Ball and the Ladies’ Golf Tournament. We also offer smaller gatherings and one-time events to help you stay engaged and connected with our community.
The Ladies Golf Tournament will be returning to Greenville for its 24th year in Summer 2025. Funds raised from the tournament will support crucial needs to help grow Greenville’s cancer support system.
This year’s event will take place on Monday, June 2nd, 2025 at 3’s Greenville Golf and Grubhouse.
This event is presented in partnership with Neighborhood Cancer Connection and the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX. The history of this all ladies event dates back over twenty years as an annual fundraiser for the Cancer Society of Greenville County (now the Neighborhood Cancer Connection). This is a great way for women to enjoy golf, network with other professional business women and build relationships while supporting your local cancer support organization.
Since 1984, the Hope Ball has been held in Greenville and is considered the premier fundraising event for the Neighborhood Cancer Connection. Held every two years, the elegant, black-tie dinner and dance will take place at a venue TBA in 2026.
WHO BENEFITS & HOW? The Neighborhood Cancer Connection provides direct services to thousands of cancer patients and their families. In addition, our individual and group counseling services impact the lives of not only patients but also their family members and the bereaved in our community.
Thank you to our sponsors listed below. Without them, the Hope Ball wouldn’t have been possible!
WHY? Cancer makes people vulnerable on many levels. While attacking the body, it can drain financial resources, strain caregivers, and overwhelm families. For the past 60 years, the Neighborhood Cancer Connection has provided families from all walks of life with hope, support, financial assistance, counseling services, and up-to-date cancer information. We are not affiliated with any other non-profit or cancer organization and are completely dependent on local donations. All funding comes from the Greenville community and all funding remains in Greenville County.
