What’s New in the Neighborhood!
Blessing of the Frames
On Dec. 12th we held a special Blessing of the Frames at our current unfinished, framed phase of construction of the new building. We were open for supporters to gather to memorialize a loved one, bless the facility, or say a prayer for its role in helping people to heal. Father Duncan from our partners at Bon Secours St. Francis did the honors, along with Capital Campaign chair, Jan McCrary. Attendees wrote messages, prayers, or quotes of hope on walls and studs of the building – a permanent reminder of our mission! Greenville Health Authority Grant
We were recently awarded a grant of $316,337 over 3 years by the Greenville Health Authority. This grant will allow us to expand our mental health program by hiring additional staff, reaching new populations with targeted therapeutic approaches, creating measurable outcomes, and evaluating our success. If you know anyone who is interested in filling our mental health counselor position (South Carolina LPC license is required), please ask them to send a resume and cover letter to [email protected].

Community Spotlight
The mission of Bernie’s Luv Cancer Outreach is to offer immediate support for basic and essential needs to individuals, families, and caregivers for those dealing with cancer in South Carolina. Established by Shanez Lanham in 2022, in memory of her mother Bernice Lanham who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2016. Bernice’s legacy of compassion and grace lives through this beautiful mission.
