Formerly the Cancer Society of Greenville County, we’ve grown to better represent and serve our local cancer community as the Neighborhood Cancer Connection. From offering financial aid to counseling and mental health support, we make sure to have cancer patients’ backs. And we’re just around the corner.
WHY WE EXIST
We believe everyone should have an equal opportunity to fight cancer with dignity and a community by their side while they do it. We’ve made it our mission to connect the people of Greenville, South Carolina, to free, integrative services that can meet their emotional needs, relieve financial burdens, and equip them for the most successful journey through cancer. And at the Neighborhood Cancer Connection, we also believe community and a sense of belonging make life worth living.
OUR SERVICES
Everyone facing cancer in Greenville – no matter their social or economic circumstances – can walk into the Neighborhood Cancer Connection and receive essential support throughout their cancer journey. And what’s more, every person who walks through our door has the opportunity to be part of a true community, too.
IMPACT
After a cancer diagnosis, being connected to, and supported by, a community is the most important factor in determining a positive outcome. Our work makes that a reality for more and more neighbors all across Greenville County.
— Caroline Greene, Cancer Survivor
MAKE A DIFFERENCE
To help us support locals in their fight against cancer, contribute your resources, time, and knowledge. Your individual contributions help strengthen and expand South Carolina’s cancer support system at large, and our influence close to home.
Your donations go directly to providing the essential services and community support so desperately needed by each of our clients.
As a non-profit providing essential cancer support, we rely on an invaluable resource – your time. Every time you volunteer, we can extend our services to more people whose lives and well-being depend on them.
If you or someone you know is in the midst of cancer or recently diagnosed, and living in Greenville County, we would love the chance to be their support system. Share their contact information below and we’ll be happy to introduce ourselves.
